In Ballerina staan de vrouwelijke én mannelijke solisten centraal. Het programma draait om virtuositeit, elegantie en persoonlijke artisticiteit. Bijzondere aandacht gaat uit naar de Russische Larissa Lezhnina, die na twintig jaar bij het gezelschap dit seizoen haar danscarrière beëindigt. Ballerina is also the farewell programme for Larissa Lezhnina. She danced with the company for 20 years and played an important role in shaping the company.
