The ‘Slipping Away’ Official Music Video was largely filmed in one of the largest strip bars in Kyiv, Ukraine. We occupied the club from 6:30 in the morning and for the next 12 hours actors and crew worked incredibly hard to get all the nightclub filming done before we turned the club back over for normal nightly operations. For this video, aliensdontringdoorbells once again teamed up with talented director Victor Maslyaev and a cast and crew of some 75 talented professionals for this retro 70’s boogie nights music video extravaganza. The ‘Slipping Away’ song itself is about a girl who gets dressed up to go out and then her guy suddenly realizes he is going to lose her. “Guys get into stupid situations they wished they hadn’t gotten into and then they’re stuck”, says aliensdontringdoorbells guitarist, sax, singer and songwriter Dorian Foyil. “Maybe there is a way out”, he adds “this song explores one of these strategies”. It is a rocking tune whose music was inspired by Britis
